Everton is currently at the center of the British press after The Toffees decided to part ways with Lampard, and now the chairman Farhad Moshiri is also ready to sell the club to someone else. According to The Guardian, the Iranian-British chairman of Everton, Farhad Moshiri, is currently looking for an exit strategy after 7 years of involvement, by selling the club for more than £500 million.

"In recent months, initially Moshiri wanted to find investment partners for the club from outside, but in the end, he decided to sell the club outright. The billionaire is said to want to recoup the money he invested in the new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium," The Guardian states.

However, after news of Everton being put up for sale, the club's official website shared a video in which Chairman Farhad Moshiri denied the rumors.

"The club is not for sale but I have talked to top investors to narrow the gap on the field. I can do it myself and the reason I want to do it is to bring top investors into Everton, as fans desire the team to be improved and have more talent and we are close to reaching an agreement.

It is not at all selling the club. It only brings more expertise in terms of global sponsorship, and commercial development. It is to ensure the sustainability of Everton," Chairman Moshiri affirmed.

After parting ways with coach Frank Lampard, Everton still has not found a replacement. Former Leeds United coach Marcelo Bielsa is the most favored to take over the Toffees as the team struggles to escape the relegation zone.

Currently, Everton has 15 points and is ranked 19th on the Premier League table after 20 games. In the upcoming matches, Everton will face a difficult set of games in the Premier League, starting with a home match against league leaders Arsenal on February 4th. Afterward, they will face Liverpool, followed by Leeds and Aston Villa.
