What did Ramsdale say when he was invited to attend the 2022 World Cup?

The number 1 keeper at Arsenal club, Aaron Ramsdale spoke up about his feelings after being called up to England by coach Southgate for the 2022 World Cup.

Last night (November 10) in Vietnam time, the British Football Federation officially announced the list of this country's team that will go to Qatar to attend the 2022 World Cup.

And it is not surprising that Aaron Ramsdale was present in this gathering of the Three Lions. In this season, Arsenal's goalkeeper has played extremely stably and left a lot of impressions with his mature and sure play.

Aaron Ramsdale is happy to be in the World Cup for the first time

Therefore, his presence in this World Cup is not too surprising. However, Ramsdale is still happy to know that he will be able to go to Qatar in the coming days.

He said: "The World Cup is every boy's dream - not except me. I have worked my whole life to achieve this after seeing so many tournaments and players competing against each other. It is an honor for me to represent this country."

Aaron Ramsdale is currently the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets and also conceding the least number of goals in the Premier League this season. Therefore, he is fully capable of competing for the main catch in the next tournament.

Talking about the competition on the national team, the 1998-born goalkeeper added: "The competition is huge and it's great that all three of us are playing and playing really well. Whoever it is, we're still there. will devote themselves to contributing to the team's efforts."

Although he has performed quite impressively in the past time, but with his younger age and not much experience in starting England with two "elder" Jordan Pickford and Nick Pope, it is likely that Ramsdale will just a backup goalkeeper of the Three Lions in the next World Cup.
